How to play cello best

Playing cello is not easy. If you want to play the cello well, you have to follow these steps.

Step 1: You have to be ready.

1. Prepare the chair, sheet music, and music stand in place
2. Wash your hands because the oil from your hands can damage the cello and strings.
3. Open the cello case and remove the cello.

Step 2: Tuning cello

You need a correct pitch. If you don’t do this part, You won’t have a good practice result. Sometimes I use my ear to tuning, but if you want to be correctly, you need to use the tuner.

Step 3: Pair of hands put on the cello

Before you play you need to put your hands correctly. If you are right-handed, The left is on the neck.The right hand will hold the bow.

Step 4: Warm-Up

You will pull the bow back and forth, and practice scales. After you warm up your hands, you can practice a song. To start, practice an easy song as part of your warm up.

Step 5: Do your main song

First, you need to know the structure of the song.

Second, you have to practice for a while.

Third, do the whole song one time.

Step 6: Add more emotion body language.

You need to know which section you need to add emotion. This can help people clearly know what do you want to express. You can use size, sound, speed, and other ways to accomplish this.

Step 7: Just remember, after your practice, you need to wipe down the cello with a dry cloth.

After you follow these steps and become better, you will enjoy the music you produce and others may even enjoy it, too.

Jerry’s Reflection

I have done at least 10 blogs. Everytime I write a blog I like it very much but always have a new problem or question with me. I will always solve it. In this time, I important learn is go look other people blog. Learn what did they write and how can I imitate. Also, I learned how can I give a good comment. I very liked the Limerick Brain freeze challenge. Because this is very fun and the comments I received all write “Wow, your ideas are very cool, this poem I like it.” This is my favorite challenge.

Every time I got comments, I was laughing. The comments were very funny. When I give the comments I will think funnily is good, bad, will it hurt too much. So I will go check again. I haven’t seen any blog I like a lot so far, just a few blogs I found interesting.

I think I will improve writing. In the future, I will write more interesting and make a blog beautiful. I think will also give more comment to other people.

I enjoyed this chance to post my blog. I like it. I will go back to see my blog and comment again. I wish next time I can do better, get more interesting and learn more. Posting blogs are very fun!!

I’m in 10 grade at Taiwan Adventist International School. As you may have guessed from the name, it’s a Christian American international school located in the mountains of central Taiwan. Here are five things I’ve noticed where it differs from Taiwanese schools.

1. In TAIS cafeteria is eat vegetarian. Taiwanese school we eat meat at every meal. (we called nutritious meal)

2. In TAIS just have 5 periods, and the lunch break is long. Taiwanese school has 8 periods even 9, and the lunch break also short. It is very tiring.

3. TAIS need to use a computer to do the homework in class or dorm. Taiwanese school just use book or paper. Not too many projects.

4. TAIS teachers are all foreigners just a few is Taiwanese. and the teachers are personable. Taiwanese school teacher will only tell you to finish what you have to do. (Is very boring)

5. TAIS does not have many students, so I can’t make many good friends. Taiwanese school most are greater than 500 people, so making friends is easy.

My favorite holiday is the Chinese New Year. Our family will do a lot of thing at that time. This break is very long.

First, we will go to our old home to worship.

We will take a long time to drive.

We will wake up early.

so the first day is a tired day.

Second, my aunt will cook lunch.

I anticipate her food because it is very yummy.

She will cook, chicken, bamboo shoots, and fish (kind of thing)  as a part of worship.

So this is our reunion dinner

Next, the second day.

We will go to the temple and the uncle’s home.

We go to the temple just to pray for safety and eat their food.

At night, uncle will cook a lot of food for us, and we will eat together, and drink little liqueur.

Next, we will go to my grandma’s home, we also go there to eat.

But we will go to the night market, and I will go to buy a firecracker.

And there have to play firecracker place, every year I will go play, it is very fun.

Finally, the last few days of vacation.

We travel with our family.

I  like this travel because it is can help me relax.

And every time we travel we can eat many delicious foods.

Every trip can help me know more places, also help me promote family feelings.

I very like the Chinese New Year.

Every Chinese New Year always has many foods.

I feel very happy.

Because it can help people’s mood getting better.

I always look forward to this Holiday.

1. The air pollution is a big problem for our environment, this issue will health problems and people will be dying, and if it continues, will have global warming.
2. If we don’t solve this problem, everyone will die, the earth will disappear.
3.  How can we solve? We should reduce do fossil fuels, take more mass transit, eat less oil and fry, change the car we drive, we can plan the more tree, that thing can help reduce air pollution.

   

My hobby

My hobby is playing the cello. Playing cello in my life is a very happy thing. This is my of my hobbies.  In my third grade, I play the cello, and I play cello 8 years, I originally played the violin, but my teacher said that I am more suitable to play the cello.  At first playing, the cello was difficult for me. In primary school, I played 3 hours a day. The first hour I practiced basic work, the second hour I practice more pitches, and the third hour I practiced a song. Now I practice two times in two weeks Because I will stay in school for two weeks. I record my practice and listen to it fix my mistakes. In the future, I think can find a better teacher to learn. Find 2、3 teacher. To participate in many music competitions, all improve my future thing can help me get a more different experience. I like to play cello all the time because it can let me feel happy and relaxed.
